Hello and happy Monday! While trolling Pinterest for inspiration ideas and things to use in my current WIP, I stumbled across some very interesting and useful writing tips I wanted to share. Some of these go to blogs, others are just images and I give all credit to the rightful owners of any content used in this post. As an author, it is vital that we find ways to express emotion and activity through words. Words like, 'said', 'went', and 'very' are commonly over used and leaves the story flat and monotonous. Even the task of describing a feeling or emotion can sometimes leave me blocked or thinking of a word I can't find. So, here is cheat sheet list to help any author, or anyone for that matter looking to expand their vocabulary and sound more sophisticated. This first list is my favorite because of its commentary. The author of this photo is a genius. Have a look: Looking for emotion? Look no further.I hope these help! Follow me on Pinterest for more tips and cheat sheets!
